Bodem Breed Symposium 2025
Bodem Breed is the annual symposium in the Netherlands where soil and soil-related professionals meet. This year’s edition expects 800 attendees. SPADES, together with the European PREPSOIL (Preparing the European Mission towards healthy soils) project organise an interactive session on “spatial Planning for urban Soils”. PREPSOIL will present the ‘soil needs’ for different land uses in the urban environment, and SPADES presents how we can involve soils in urban planning. The session focuses on how to better use, preserve and restore the potential of the (sub)soil through spatial planning and design. Interactive discussions will go into best practices, existing instruments and what characteristics are needed for a navigator to find the right instruments for the right purpose (SPADES Navigator).
